Vitamin d deficiency 8.19ng/ml
Is it possible to have vitamin d deficiency for years, as I have not exposing myself to sun from 3-4 years properly and I have all time fatigue, less muscle mass ,and negative impact on growth and development of body , recently I have been checked for vitamin d and found that my level was 8.19ng/ml

Non exposure to the sun could be one of the causes. 8.19 ng/,ml is low -deficiency of vitamin d. You can take vitamin d in the injection form or orally 60000 iu sachet once a week for at least 15 weeks along with calcium supplement daily. Exposure to sunlight for 20-30 minutes in the morning ,milk and other dairy products, eggs Orange juice ,codliver oil capsules are a very rich source of vitamin d

Yes its very much possible to have deficiency for years as the symptoms of deficiency are non specific.
