It is very common for Vitamin B12 to be borderline in India due to our dietary habits. You can stay calm this is a very treatable condition. it is a Government of India initiative the medicines sold here are authentic generic drugs ,the quality and effectiveness are equivalent to branded medicines Always get a proper printed bill from the shop to confirm the batch.
Next Steps
Taking prescribed supplements regularly will help bring your borderline B12 levels back to normal, with improvements usually felt in a few weeks. Recheck your B12 levels with a blood test after a few months to track progress

I understand your concern regarding its authenticity and usage. About the tablet you are taking From the composition visible: • Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg • Alpha lipoic acid • Folic acid • Pyridoxine (B6) • Biotin 👉 This is a standard and commonly used combination for: • Vitamin B12 deficiency • Nerve health • Weakness, fatigue 👉 Even if the brand is generic and not easily found online, the composition is appropriate and medically valid. Is it safe to continue? 👉 Yes, you can safely continue this tablet There is no issue with this combination, and it is widely prescribed in different brand names. How long should you take it • Take once daily after food • Continue for 2 to 3 months After that: • Recheck Vitamin B12 level • Then decide whether to continue or shift to maintenance dose Important advice • Do not worry about brand if bought from government authorized pharmacy like Makkal Marunthagam • Focus is on correct composition, which your tablet has When to consider further evaluation • If symptoms like tingling, numbness, fatigue persist • If B12 remains low after 2 to 3 months Important reassurance 👉 Your B12 is borderline, not severe 👉 Oral supplementation like this is sufficient in most cases 👉 Injections are not required unless severe deficiency For personalised dose planning and follow up, you can reach out to me on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Yes, this supplement is fine. It contains Methylcobalamin + folic acid + B6, which helps borderline B12. You can continue 1 tablet daily after food for 6–8 weeks. Repeat B12 after that. If symptoms or levels don’t improve, consult me for proper evaluation and treatment.
