Looking to your history it seems that you have BPPV it’s a positional vertigo related to some problem in inner ear. Now coming to vertin it’s not the treatment for BPPV and also 8mg dose was inadequate. Treatment for BPPV is positional manuevres which needs to be done. My sincere advise to you is stop vertin.

First foremost important thing is RELAX, you are not sick,,the episode was just time being...you were maintaining bad sleep habits in the recent past. And that I see you are too young to be on escitalopram, I would rather suggest have healthy lifestyle and proper sleep pattern avoid staying up at night , take good multivitamin supplements, take nutritious food. Spend time on meditation and physical exercises
Next Steps
continue with vestibular rehab exercises
Health Tips
avoid being anxious, avoid using headphones if you use any, avoid staying up late hours, have proper 6-8 hours sleep
