UTI in early pregnancy
I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant..fetal pole and cardiac activity are not yet seen.doc advised basic tests.My urine culture test showed Enterococcus faecalis organism.Doc advised me to take Niftas 100mg twice for 7days.Is it okay to take this in early pregnancy?? Will this urine infection affect fetal growth??

I think you should wait for a week, get the confirmation of pregnancy. If not pregnant you can go ahead with the treatment for UTI.

Antibiotics are important to treat infection and they are taken according to sensitivity. I can’t see sensitivity to antibiotics in your report.
