Pain in upper jaw can be due to various reasons including recent cold ,radiating ear pain, pain due to TMJ joint due to grinding and so on.
Some pain is normal after removal of teeth ,but if pain is increasing or not settling ,there might be infection of the extraction socket which will need addressing!
If not ,other causes of pain have to be ruled out ,hope that helps.

Visit Dentist if need to as explained above

Hi , if the pain is reducing day by day , no need to worry , seek dentist help if pain is increasing, kindly do warm water salt rinsing it will help you
Sometimes it takes time for the socket to heal. Hope you didnt spit after the procedure for 24 hours and also if it took a long time for extraction then it will take some days for the socket to heal. Mild discomfort is ok. It happens after extraction for a few days. If it doesnt go away then please get reviewed.
Next Steps
Continue salt- lukewarm water gargles. Hit compressions on the cheek region . Do not try to chevk the area with your tongue or any other object. Try to limit your mouth opening for upto 3 fingers.
Hello,
Mild jaw discomfort can still occur after wisdom tooth extraction and is usually part of normal healing. please continue the advised care and inform your dentist if the pain increases or any new symptoms develop.
