Upper abdominal pain can have multiple causes. Most common being peptic ulcer disease ( commonly known as gastritis), gall bladder stone disease, pancreatitis or liver related diseases.
Next Steps
A single dosage of antispasmodic drugs and PPIs can help you fight pain. It’s also advised that you look into the pattern of pain ( timing, exact site, relation with food and any other symptom) for future references.
