Undislocated Hairline Ankle fracture
Fell during exercise today and twisted my ankle. Got x-ray done and doc said it's an undislocated hairline fracture. He said its quite minor. Immobilisation is needed for 2 weeks. Wanted a second opinion here. Whats should be the next steps and treatment here

If it's a fracture get a plaster done for 2 to 3 weeks duration.

X ray need to be evaluated. If the findings are same as mentioned in the query, immobilisation for 2-3 week in plaster is advisable.

• Limb elevation, Active/Passive finger/Toe movements. • Crepe Bandage-To be applied by a medical doctor. • Intermittent ice pack application. • Rest/Non-weight-bearing mobilization till further advice. • Watch for increased Swelling/Excessive pain/Toe or Finger discoloration/Fever. If present, visit the nearest hospital immediately. • In case of allergic reactions to medicine, Immediately stop all medications and visit the nearest hospital. • Routine follow-up with x ray films
