Hii doctor ..my baby is having right undecent testical .Today I noticed a string type nerve in his scrotum..what does that mean ..is the testical started the journey to decent he is 2months old

At two months old, spontaneous testicular descent is common and can naturally continue until six months of age.The "string-type nerve" you feel is likely the spermatic cord, which contains blood vessels and tissue fibers.Feeling this structure is completely normal and does not confirm if the testicle has started moving down.A physical evaluation is the only reliable way to determine the testicle's exact location and descent progress.Please consult a pediatrician

Is baby born after 9 completed months or preterm.if preterm u can wait or better to get ultrasound as advised by paediatrician

Usually Testes comes into scrotum by 6months after birth so you can wait till that period
