Hello Doctor
My 1.5 years daughter has been having fever ranging in-between 100-101 F since Monday morning with no other symptoms such as running nose or cough etc. She is taking the diet as regular, no change in food or fluid intake. Though she seems a bit less active than usual or not, she is playing as normally.
My question is that I want to know which blood tests can we get done beforehand before visiting a paediatrician for an in-clinic consultation? I do not want to waste any more time just for knowing the tests on the first visit and then finally for the actual treatment.
I hope I have mentioned my query clearly. Waiting for your valuable answers.
Thanks

Hi... As the fever has just started 1 day back I would say wait for next 24-36 hours before picking the baby for test.
Test recommended Cbc, urine, PS for MP,dengue Ns1..
