Undescended testes
My nephew, 4 months old, full term baby, has bilateral undescended testes. He is on breastfeed and formula. What can be done to help in descend? Can the mother's diet changes help ? Any hormone treatment can help ? Recent ultrasound reveals both are in superficial inguinal rings. What are the chances of descend ? What are its effects on the baby boy's future growth and development ? Please advice.
