My son's blood test shows Widal shows salmonella typhi O and H positive 1:40 with hemoglobin marginally low at 12.5, WBC of 12,100 and RBC of 4.47. Dengue and malaria is negative...he is having fever for the last one week. Can anyone suggest?

Widal test titre is negative.Widal is not specific.Do a typhidot test.The CBC test shows infection.Fever lasting for a week may require further investigations
Widal test takes time , minimum 7 to 10 days to become positive,go for Typhoid test (igM and IgG).it is more reliable in acute conditions..blood reports indicate infection..
