Hello,
My spouse had done a blood test for fever and the report says salmonella typhi 0 1:40 (positive) and salmonella typhi H 1:40 ( positive). I would like to know if this conforms to typhoid or not

Hi, Your report doesn’t indicate for typhoid positive. But typhoid test should be done only after 1 week of fever because of risk of false negative before 1 week. Take healthy food and if fever continues. U can consult ur physician. U can consult me here if u wish. Thanku
