RICE is the treatment for sprain R for Rest. I for Ice C for compression bandage E for Elevation and eating nutritious food and good sleep will help and after pain relief strengthening exercise for quadriceps and hand muscles

Getting adequate rest, eating a well-balanced diet, and using stress-management techniques such as yoga and deep breathing may help relieve a muscle twitch. Avoiding caffeine and smoking may also help. Treatment usually isn’t necessary for muscle twitching. The spasms tend to subside without treatment within a few days. However, you may need treatment if one of the more serious conditions is causing your muscle twitching. Depending on the particular diagnosis treatment can be suggested.

Twitching of any muscle of the body is an involuntary action or in easy term not in our control,so till the time it’s not affecting your daily activities it’s ok.just to add just practice taking balanced diet,adequate water8-10 glasses and regular walk or exercises.Thanks
