TSH reading is high
Hi Doctor, Lastweek i have undergone thyroid test. The result is as below T3 - 1.62 ng/ml - (Normal 0.5 -2.0 ng/ml) T4- 10.02 ug/dl - (Normal 5.1 - 14.1 ug/dl) TSH - 5.44 mIU/ml - (Normal 0.3 -4.5 mIU/ml) Technique: ELECTRO CHEMILUMINISCENCE I am little worried regarding TSH reading is a bit high compared with Normal range. Please suggest

This is called subclinical hypothyroidism. It needs to be treated only if patient has symptoms or is positive for anti TPO antibodies
