I'm 29 years old, BMI 27. I've been trying to conceive for the last 6-7 months. I've been eating 1500-1700 calories everyday. Home cooked meals. I include beans, channa, vegetables, eggs and dals in everyday diet. I also include seeds and whole milk. Is this okay or should i reduce further?

Hi
A small suggestion do not try to lose weight now as it is essential you stay healthy
Following 1500 to 1700 calories/ day is healthy,
Add in different green leafy vegs esp spinach, kale, drumstick leaves which will accentuate needed iron.
Eat fruits having plenty of water content like watermelon, musk melon, guavas etc.
You could contact a gynaecologist and take a iron supplement once a day .
Ideally your BMI should be near to 23. Great that you started including the things that are good for health. But i would suggest to get fine tune your diet with the help of dietitian for the purpose.
Hello
Hope you are doing well
Deficit calories will never help for conceive
Please eat estrogenic food in your diet to produce more estrogen and progesterone for implantation
Like safflower seeds
Soya bean
Flex seeds
Green leafy vegetables
And please tell to your husband to take maca root
Hi,
According to the food items you told generally it's fine. Apart from Dietary, you need to track your water intake, sleep cycle, stress factor if any, time mgmt of all activities etc.
For personalised suggestions & guidance you need to come up with your Bio details, medical history if any & routine details.
