I am having toothache constantly from last 5 days. There is a severe pain whenever I try to eat or drink something.

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is a cavity, you need to get it filled. if there is infection to root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. then get a crown placed over it.

Hi,A x ray has to be taken to evaluate the depth of cavity & root canal will be required.Meanwhile take antibiotics & painkillers for pain relief and avoid eating from the affected site.

The pain which you experience during eating or drinking something may be due to loss of enamel in that particular tooth which leads to tooth sensitivity or due to to presence of cavity in the tooth.Kindly get a radio-graph done.

Visit dentist.there must be decayed tooth that is culprit for your problem. Get x ray done. If cavity is not deep filling will do otherwise rct needs to be done.
