Wisdom tooth extracted may be done by surgery so it is an open wound. It requires around 10 days for wound closure and bone healing to start. Take analgesic prescribed by your dentist and don’t apply hot formentation. Instead apply ice pack from outside

Hi Usual tooth extraction will have slight pain for a week . For wisdom tooth since it's a open method of extraction you will feel quite difficult . Take pain killer if required . Rinse your mouth with rock salt water . Don't allow food to stay there . Wound closure will take atleast 30 days .
