Dear patient, xray is advised to check for the depth of the problem. And further treatment needed. You might need a restoration or root canal treatment for the same.
As per your picture u can go for filling but if the blackening of tooth is more deeper then rct will be best option followed by capping of that teeth since you are just 20 years old.
Next Steps
visit your nearby dentist and get your tooth treatment done ASAP!
Health Tips
dont bite anything hard from this side till you get your treatment done.
Hello, it looks like the issue is significant. Based on the X-ray, you may need either a filling or a root canal treatment. It's best to consult with a dentist
Dear Patient,
The tooth area chipped off due to a severe cavity. For thorough examination of the tooth, get it checked by your nearby dentist. They will assist you much better clinically with X-rays & let you know if it can be treated with simple restoration (filling) or RCT (only if the cavity is deep and there is severe pain)
Hope this was helpful. Keep smiling.
Xray needs to be taken.
If the small part of the tooth is chipped without pain, then a filling has to be done.
If it is associated with pain then root canal treatment has to be done.
First thing take an x-ray, if the decay is not extending up to pulp, can get TF done and PF on a later date. If it's extending upto pulp..go for Root Canal Treatment or Tooth Extraction
If associated with severe sensetivity, pain or swelling, then most likely Root Canal Treatment.
If no symptoms, then filling/restoration.
Do visit a local dentist for physical evaluation, x ray and treatment(as required)
Hello patient ,
You need to consult near by dentist , if you don’t have pain and sensitivity you can go with filling followed by removal of cavity and of pain then go for root canal treatment.
Thank you.
