Tooth ace for wisdomteeth
I am suffering from tooth ace from last 3 days. Entire left side is paining. Some doctors are saying it's wisdom tooth in to and bottom in wrong direction. Is it really required to remove. 1yr back when i went for the same pain doctor told me it's wisdom tooth but not required to remove. Why is it that now after 1yr i need to remove.

If the wisdom tooth does not have space to erupt or is positioned in abnormal way giving you trouble it is essential for you to get it removed. It may apply pressure on the tooth which is in front of it giving you pain in the entire area. Taking pain killer and antibiotics will just give you relief during that period but will definitely cause problems as the source is still present there. The permanent solution is to get it removed. - Dr. Som Ranjan Pathak Oral and maxillofacial Surgeon
Next Steps
Get the wisdom tooth removed which is the only solution

Dear madam, Your question seems valid. But it is difficult to comment without knowing your condition at that time. In general wisdom teeth should be removed if they erupt in an unfavourable position in the mouth because they cause damage to the adjacent teeth also.... Sorry to say but it is most dentists' observation that most patients do not agree for extraction of wisdom tooth (even if it is indicated) until they have pain.
Next Steps
Please consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon ASAP with Xrays
Health Tips
Please don't delay it or else you may have to undergo extraction of adjacent tooth also

Wisdom tooth should be removed if it is not properly aligned. If not erupting in proper position it cause damage to tooth anterior to it  which then may require root canal treatment followed by crown or even extraction.
Next Steps
if extraction is required better go for it.

Hi Wisdom tooth is last tooth to come in mouth/ erupt in ur oral cavity. Thereby with available space in ur jaw it positions itself so there is maximum chances it aligns itself in wrong position so it's better to remove it either preventively or after the problem arise Consult and with help of radiographs proceed with advice of ur dr

The tooth seems impacted / locked within the jaw bone. We sometimes adopt wait and watch approach when we notice that the wisdom tooth is in the process of eruption.Since the condition has occured again I guess your dentist is right in suggesting its extraction ,one can only decide on the treatment options after seeing the X ray.
Next Steps
Pls follow your dentist's opinion.
