Hai, antibiotics may reduce your inflammation but it does not remove that cause for inflammation to occur. Gum inflammation may come due to lot of reasons like food lodgement, cavitated tooth, etc. If all your gums got inflammed then it might be due to poor oral hygiene. If it is a localized inflammation then there might be some problem with your adjacent tooth.
Next Steps
Get a checkup done by the dentist. remove the cause for inflammation like by doing scaling or treating your cavitated tooth.
Health Tips
for time being u can avoid hot and spicy foods and can do a salt water gargling. pls visit your nearby dentist and have a word with them before taking antibiotics. Taking medications deactivates your symptoms but not the actual cause you may get the inflammation again. Take care😊
