Hi doctors, good day!
I had a horizontal impacted wisdom tooth, got surgery 12 days ago. And they removed stitches last Friday, and mentioned everything seemed fine.
But post that, since Saturday (last 4 days) I seem to have this growth, like a small, soft bump, in that area. The area aches very mildly, and at times food gets lodged under the bump. Please see the photo attached. Is this something serious?

It's normal , unless untill if u have pain nothing to worry , this is how the healing happens after removal most of the time , if you notice food lodgement , kindly do mouth rinse and keep the area neat
Hi.. the growth might be a suture granuloma and is not uncommon. Just see if the size increases else it shall resolve on its own. In case it persists, pls pay visit to an Oral surgeon for further evaluation.
Get well soon.
