Impacted Wisdom teeth Surgery
I underwent a surgery to remove horizontally impacted wisdom teeth 6 days back. The doctor had prescribed me pain medications for 5 days and now I'm on no pain killers. The extraction site has a throbbing pain which gets relieved after taking paracetamol 650mg for 4 hrs. Do I need to visit the surgeon again or this pain after 6 days of surgery is anticipated?

Visit dentist if pain is unbearable. In horizontal impactions the surgical site needs little more time to heal if there has been extensive bone cutting. Also there are chances of dry socket usually if the patient fails to take proper care of the extraction site for first 24 hrs.
