Tingling sensations in the body—especially when paired with neck and shoulder pain—can often be due to nerve irritation or compression, possibly stemming from cervical spine posture issues or muscular tension around the neck and upper back. Slightly elevated blood pressure may sometimes worsen the feeling of discomfort or anxiety, but tingling typically relates more to nerve involvement than BP alone.
Next Steps
• Continue physiotherapy, but request your therapist to include neural mobilization, posture correction, and cervical isometric exercises. • Avoid prolonged sitting, mobile use with neck bent, or sleeping without neck support. • If tingling increases or spreads, consult a neurologist or spine specialist to rule out disc-related or systemic causes. • Track your BP and manage stress actively—high stress can worsen both muscle tightness and nerve sensitivity.
Health Tips
• Sleep position: Use a cervical pillow and sleep on your back or side—not on your stomach. • Hydration & Nutrition: Stay well hydrated, and include Vitamin B12 and magnesium-rich foods (nuts, greens, eggs). • Breathing & Relaxation: Daily deep breathing or mindfulness can ease nerve sensitivity and blood pressure. • Gentle Movement: Shoulder rolls, chin tucks, and upper back stretches can be helpful—start slowly and only under supervision. • Avoid self-diagnosing or worrying—it’s great that you’ve started therapy early. Tingling from postural or nerve irritation usually improves with proper care.

It really would be great if you could be more specific, as mentioned by others, the area of your tingling sensation ( body as in full body or just neck and shoulder, if so which side ) all of these information helps to understand which nerve might be affected if it's any specific nerve. You should definitely get your vitamin levels checked and sugar levels as well.
Next Steps
Ask your physio what are their specific plan of treatment for your problem. you could consult us here online or you could look for a different physio if your current physio isn't able to provide you with specifics after all the tests. give it a few more days, get all the tests results and decide on it then.
Health Tips
avoid lifting heavy, see that you maintain/ correct your posture and modify if your work posture needs modifications.

Tingling sensations (also known as paresthesia) can have various causes, including poor circulation, nerve compression, vitamin deficiencies, anxiety, or underlying medical conditions like diabetes or multiple sclerosis. Maintain proper posture of the neck, massage gently the effected area of neck and shoulder and do hot compression for 15mins. Take proper B12, B6 and calcium supplements, if the tingling continues after 3 days then consult with the neurologist.

1. Tingling sensations in the body can have various causes, ranging from temporary nerve pressure to underlying medical conditions. 2. Note where the tingling occurs (e.g., hands, feet, all over), how long it lasts, and if it’s associated with weakness, numbness, or pain. Observe if it worsens with certain positions or activities, or if it’s constant. 3. Inform your physiotherapist about the tingling sensation. 4. Tingling can result from nerve compression (e.g., from a herniated disc, neck strain), poor circulation, or vitamin deficiencies (especially B vitamins). 5. High blood pressure is not a direct cause of tingling.
Next Steps
1. Avoid positions that worsen the tingling. 2. Gentle massage may help if the tingling is due to muscle tension. 3. Move and stretch regularly. 4. High stress can sometimes contribute to tingling or aggravate symptoms. 5. Ensure adequate intake of B vitamins and other nutrients
Health Tips
If tingling is persistent, severe, associated with weakness, loss of bladder/bowel control, or spreads rapidly, seek prompt medical attention.
