Hello doctors I would like to know can a pinched nerve in the neck cause a tingling sensation in one side of my arm (without having a pain in the neck region)?

Hey there! There can be tingling sensation in arm without any pain in neck region. First of all pain and tingling are two separate sensations. They are carried by different nerve fibres. One *should not* go into such details.

Tingling and numbness occur due to nerve compression sometimes it can be pain or tingling and sometimes both. Constant working in flexion neck can cause muscle to go under weakness and further on causing these symptoms.

Get your xray done Also check your vitamin b12 This radiculopathy is may be b'coz of cervical spondylitis Proper diagnosis is required in your case

If there is nerve pinched then there will be tingling sensation in onde side, you should get xray or mri to rule out other possiblities of disc issues. Do neck isometric exercises, maintain proper posture and consult in perosn with neutologist or physiotherapist for the treatment.
