Hi it may be muscle strain which is very common in this kind of sports as I have treated thousands of such cases with full recovery. Once a day Icing for 10 to 15 mins can reduce inflammation, u can try hot pack once a day for 10 mins to improve blood circulation. But it needs proper quality physio treatment to heal from the root and to make sure it should not reoccur . We have Ayurvedic pain spray available which u can order or collect from our krv physio clinic.
Next Steps
Online practo Consultation or consultation at our krv clinic and taping treatment .it will get healed ASAP .
Health Tips
Try to avoid stretching and stressful exercises till it gets healed . Do not massage the affected area only apply spray or krv pain oil spray . Avoid butterfly pose and cross leg . May god bless you fast recovery

As you said you'd have hurt your inner thigh muscles.
Next Steps
You should give hot water fomentation for 15-20 minutes twice a day for one week. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do strengthening exercises for your thigh muscles on all four sides with proper guidance. Avoid stretching for now.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment either in person or through video call.

The first thing to know is, does your hip hurt as you walk or stand on one leg(bad side). Secondly does your hip click or clunk (make noises) on movement. Mostly if these are not there the hip joint, capsule are clear. However there is a specific test that needs to be done to rule it out fully. -Secondly, Next with muscle adductor strain the pain is only on stretching or resisted movement, but not much on walking or single leg stance. - Thirdly, any impingement. Does your hip catch as you move at a certain angle and then resolve as its out of that. You need an appointment to rule these out....
Next Steps
Use ice if there is burning pain. It means there is inflammation... If not use heat as mentioned earlier. Also use generous portions of volini. Take a physiotherapist appointment to diagnose and treat you for either of these conditions.
