Hai sir/mam. I had a hypothyroidism for 10 years. So I take medicine properly. I took 100mcg per day. A few months back my tsh level increased to 9 so the doctor suggested to increase my dosage to 150mcg per day. But I have seen period irregular pbm in the past 2 months.so I tested my thyroid. Now my tsh is 0.02. don't know what to do next. Kindly suggest the correct dosage of eltroxin. Shall I reduce the dosage ?

Increase in the eltroxin dose has caused medicine induced hyperthyroidism which will revert to euthyroid or hypothyroid state on reducing/stopping the medicine.It is not advisable to Stop eltroxin abruptly,rather reducing the dose under the supervision of your physician.
