Yes — Eltroxin 25 mcg and Euthyrox 25 mcg are both levothyroxine, the same active thyroid hormone. In general, they are therapeutically equivalent, so taking Eltroxin in place of Euthyrox for a short period is safe and acceptable. However, different brands can have slight differences in absorption, so symptoms or TSH levels may vary if you switch frequently.
Next Steps
• You may continue Eltroxin 25 mcg temporarily if Euthyrox is unavailable
• Take it exactly the same way: early morning, empty stomach, with water, and wait 30–45 minutes before food or tea/coffee
• If you plan to stay on Eltroxin long-term, recheck TSH after 6–8 weeks to ensure levels remain optimal
• Avoid switching back and forth between brands repeatedly
Health Tips
• Consistency matters more than the brand in thyroid treatment
• Do not adjust the dose on your own
• If you notice new symptoms (palpitations, anxiety, fatigue), get levels checked
• Keep one brand stable once available to avoid confusion

Hello ,
Taking medication without fail is very important- which you have maintained . But usually we encourage the Pateint to take the same brand of medicine . If you started with eltroxin then no need to worry , but please recheck the thyroid values after 2months and consider further requirements.
Next Steps
Kindly keep an eye on your gut problems ,like bloating , altered bowel habits .
Most of the time no need to worry about. Very rarely Pateint comes across these problem .
