Thyroid imbalance
Hi I am 28yr old women having thyroid problem from past 6yrs. I always use to take  thyrox 50mg medicine but from last 6months I am shifted to 75mg by my gynecologist for my infertility treatment because that time my TSH was 6.5 and I was gaining weight too. But after 6month now my TSH level is 0.495 and T3 is 1.67 & T4 is 13.85(little high). So I just want to know that why my T4 is high and T3 &TSH is normal. And also should I continue with 75mg tablet or should get back to 50mg again. I am also trying to conceive from past 1year but I am unsuccessful because of my hormonal imbalance. Thanks.

Hello, Yes please continue taking tablets as prescribed by the doctor. Along with it try following a balanced clean (healthy) diet, this will help you with your thyroid problems. -Exercise daily for an hour (Can be at home or simple exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, on the spot marching, squats, etc) -Include protein in your diet (taking protein rich foods post workout helps in muscle building) -Increase fiber in your diet (Will help you stay full) -Include fruits and vegetables in your diet (2-3 serving) -Water intake of atleast 3L per day -Add healthy fat like nuts to your diet. -Avoid/Exclude fried, sugary and junk food -Eat a balanced and healthy diet -Do not skip breakfast as 40% of days energy is from breakfast NOTE: The above mentioned practices can change according to a specific medical condition.
