Throbbing pain in left real deltoid
Continuous pain in left neck and shoulder and rear deltoid muscle. Tried applying heat but helps for couple of hour only, pain is still there.  streching neck oftentimes as working in office. Pain comes while sitting also or getting up from bed. Advice what to do.

You are having cervical spine disc prolapse. Do n't do any exercise yourself. Consult any physio for right exercises to cure the same.

Cervical spasm occurs due to many reasons. A change in weather or stress in a common reason these days. Hot water fermentation shall help to relieve the spasm . Correction of posture ( sleeping and well as sitting) will also help .

you must see a physiotherapist and work on muscle conditioning with stretching as well as strengthening of your neck , shoulder and upper back muscles for better prognosis.

take a break from work and do leisure activities that you like. A change in focus and happy mood reduces spasm and pain perceived by the brain .

It looks like a cervical issue. You might also have got Trapezius spasm which you feel that pain is coming upto shoulder & your deltoid level. Get yourself assessed properly. Take an X-ray to see the changes. Good thing you are following your work stretching exercises, but those are not enough. You might need to undergo few doses of medicines or few physiotherapy sessions will get you back on track.
