Monitor the temperature, if it's more than 101 and child is uncomfortable then only you have to give pacimol MF Syrup. Most importantly if he is active and comfortable during non fever episodes then don't worry. Good Hydration and nutrition with Medicines it will be okay but he is dull, not taking fluids and diets then ask your pediatrician to shift to him on Intravenous Antibiotics and Fluids.
In typhoid it can take about 5-6 days for the fever to go completely . Fever reduces in a " step ladder " manner ,i.e. the inetrval between episodes increase and peak fever reduces , gradually . So if the fever free period os increasing and peak temperature gradually reducing , the medicines are acting . Complete disappearance of fever will take more than two day's . Please be in regular touch with your doctor .
