Typhoid fever starts with forehead
Hi Sir my daughter 6 years old this has become pattern for typhoid fever to stay at forehead for long time (102-103) . It comes slowly towards stomach area and hand but lega are always normal most of the time. Is this expected ? Apart from medicines to reduce fever can we also do sponge and cold Patti on forehead ? Can this delay fever medicine ?

Yes u can do tepid sponging from forehead to foot if temperature is high . Give calpol for Fver and maintain hydration give water every 4 th hrly around 50 ml
