Teeth problem in pregnancy.
My wife 22 week pregnant.She was suffering teeth and gum pain.All report ok.please suggest what we can do???Thank you in advance.

During pregnancy there is alteration in female hormones levels which can cause changes in gums which is common during pregnancy. I think she is on second trimester which is a safe period to go ahead with dental treatment if it is a emergency othetwise postpone.

Its a condition called Pregnancy Gingivitis wherein your gums get inflammed due to calculus deposits.
Considering the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, you can get a professional scaling that is cleaning done. Mild analgesics and antibiotics could help of its causing pain.

22 weeks that means your wife is in the second trimester of pregnancy, that is 4 to 6 months: actually safe for getting any sorts of dental treatment. She's having teeth and gum pain it seems that she has gum issue that is gingivitis she might be experiencing bleeding in the gums while brushing her teeth or sensitivity in her teeth. This is a very common condition that occurs during pregnancy. What she can do is she can start doing warm saline rinses and do gum massaging by desi ghee or mustard oil. But if she's getting more trouble you need to take her to a dental clinic and scaling can be done that is absolutely safe to be done till 6 months of pregnancy. After that it would be a trouble. So it is better that during the second trimester just get a dental examination done so that any emergency treatment if needed can be done to avoid further problem.

Nothing much to worry... Actually, some women get swollen and sore gums, which may bleed, during pregnancy. Bleeding gums are caused by a build-up of plaque on the teeth. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can make your gums more vulnerable to plaque, leading to inflammation and bleeding. This is also called pregnancy gingivitis or gum disease.
