Usually takes 8 months to 1.5 or 2 years . Depends on complexity and type of braces. But there is a procedure assisted by surgery where it gets over in 3- 8 months. Please look up wilckodontics.
Or you can go for clear aligners whoch are not visible

The treatment duration depends upon the level of malocclusion which varies from patient to patient and can be determined after a proper clinical evaluation and a few X-rays and arch analysis. Bone density increases with age and makes the treatment duration slightly longer. If the level of malocclusion is mild then it can definitely be completely in less than 1 year but that cannot be said for sure only going by the description that you have given.
