Yes it's a serious matter.... kindly consult a surgeon in your locality for proper general physical examination. As the history provided by you and symptoms might be a hernia...

It can be hernia or any other swelling but the first thing you have to do is to reduce your body weight by maintaining healthy lifestyle which includes less oil consumption , more green vegetables intake and eat in a small amount with proper interval and no foods from outside.
Next Steps
You can do a CT scan of abdomen if the problem increases. As you have fatty liver problem you can do blood test for lipid profile,FBS,PPBS,HbA1c,TSH,FT4,FT3,LFT to get a full check up done.
Health Tips
Consult any nearby General surgeon for the swelling.

Swelling that appears on sitting/standing and flattens when lying down is a classic sign of a hernia. Two normal USGs are reassuring but USG may miss hernias — a clinical examination by a general surgeon is needed.
Next Steps
See a general surgeon for physical examination to rule out hernia. Meanwhile, manage constipation (high fibre, water, isabgol). Avoid straining. Consult me on Practo for further guidance.

Post meal you might be finding such symptoms because of food in your stomach. If you are experiencing the same without food, then get an ultrasound done and consult a general surgeon personally when you have symptoms.
