I am Dr Shamoon, Consultant Physician. This is most consistent with an acute allergic swelling after the insect bite. Because the lip swelling is large and has not reduced after two hours, do not ignore it—tongue or throat swelling, hoarseness, breathing trouble, dizziness or hives means emergency care now.
Next Steps
Continue a cold compress and take no extra antihistamine beyond the package or doctor’s advice. Since swelling is persistent, arrange an in-person assessment today; book a Practo consult or visit Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj. Go to emergency immediately if any airway symptom appears.

It looks like a allergic reaction post insect bite . Cold compression and anti allergic medication taken should suffice if the response is only lip swelling as shown . Any escalation , as in additional difficulties requires in person consultation with doctor.

Your photo shows swelling on one side of your lower lip, which is a typical local reaction to an insect bite. Your lip swells more than other skin because the tissue there is loose. With no pain and no other symptoms, you can keep using cold compresses for short spells. If your lip is still swollen after two days, or turns painful, warm or starts oozing, see a doctor to rule out infection.
Health Tips
Go to an emergency department straight away if you have trouble breathing or swallowing, your tongue or throat swells, your voice changes, or you get hives elsewhere on your body.
