Swelling after Semabest 2mg injection
My mother was administered her 2nd dose of Injection Semabest 2mg PFS today for weight management. While injecting a small pea sized swelling and mild redness appeared at the injection site. This did not happen during the 1st dose. There is no severe pain or other symptoms right now. Please advise if this is normal reaction or if any treatment/precaution is needed.

Mild swelling and redness at the injection site can occur with semaglutide and usually settles within a few days. Use a cool compress and avoid rubbing or massaging the area. Seek urgent care if redness spreads, pain worsens, pus/fever develops, or you notice facial swelling or breathing difficulty. Your photo shows a small pink raised area at the injection site. A mild local reaction like this is common with weekly injections and usually settles on its own within a few days. A cool compress and not rubbing the spot is enough for now.

As per the history u have given and Pic it seems that it may be just a mild location reaction.
Next Steps
The best u can do
1. Don't massage or squeeze it
2 apply a cold compress
3 keep the area clean and mostly the redness subsides in 1 to 3 days
4 for the next dose rotate the injection site
