Suggest medicine for pain relief
Got capping done for my tooth a few months back.. however there is pain in the same area... already consulted a doctor but the medcine and ointment provided are not really helping... and there is immense pain... request you to suggest a medicine for pain relief..

Hi..you need to visit a dentist as soon as possible get an xray of the tooth and dentist will find out the cause for your pain.

Hello
There are different reasons for pain after cap as in high points on the cap , the tooth is not root canal treated etc.So You should visit the dentist for removal of high points if any n get-ray done for further examination if pain doesn't subside .you can take tab Dolo 650mg(if u r not allergic to it) after food for pain but that's just for temporary relief.

You have to show the x-ray sir. If the tooth can't be saved there are several ways to replace the teeth

See you didn’t mention whether root canal was done on that tooth or not I suggest you get the x-ray done to check the situation, ifthe root canal was not done you might need a root canal and then the same Cap be fixed againFor more information click drlillys.com
