Hi a proper clinical examination has to be done followed by instructions (jaw exercises) please visit a dentist. In the mean while don't open your mouth too wide & be cautious while yawning.

Hi there I understand your concern... Painful jaw opening or limited opening due to pain may be due tmj joint disorder...subluxation or dislocation of joint can cause these problems... Malocclusion of teeths may be underlying issues... Consult nearest dental surgeon they will guide you further.

I think you are suffering from third molar (wisdom tooth ) infection causing trismus. Get your x-ray done for better evaluation.for the time being do lot of warm saline gargle and jaw opening exercises.donot take antibiotics and pain killers without prescription.
