1. Hepatomegaly (enlarged liver): The liver measures 17 cm, which is larger than normal. The echotexture is normal, and there are no focal lesions or signs of obstruction in the biliary system. This may suggest either a physiological variation or a mild liver issue that requires further evaluation with liver function tests (LFT) to determine the cause.
2. Thickened bowel loops at the epigastric region: This finding suggests possible inflammation or infection in the pylorus (lower part of the stomach) or the first part of the duodenum. It could indicate gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, or another gastrointestinal condition.
3. Coarse myometrial echo-pattern of the uterus: This may indicate some uterine abnormality, though it is not detailed in the report and seems incidental. Clinical correlation with symptoms like irregular bleeding or pelvic discomfort may be needed.
Suggested Next Steps:
Follow up with the advised liver function tests (LFT) to assess liver health.
If you experience symptoms like abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, or fever, consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and possibly an endoscopy to rule out significant gastrointestinal issues.
Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol, and limit fatty or fried foods to support liver health.
If there are uterine concerns, a gynecological review can help clarify the significance of the myometrial changes.
