Stomach pain
I’ve been having a sharp pain around the navel area that sometimes goes upward into the upper abdomen, along with diarrhoea for the past few days. The pain comes in waves and feels quite uncomfortable. Please suggest

Hi, sharp pain around the navel that radiates upward along with diarrhoea coming in waves could be due to intestinal spasms, gastroenteritis, IBS, or a gut infection. At 64, it's also important to rule out anything related to the large intestine or gallbladder.
For now, stay well hydrated, have light easy-to-digest food, and avoid spicy or oily meals. If the pain is worsening or the diarrhoea is severe, please don't delay getting evaluated.
