A constant sense of fullness and heaviness even without eating is most often functional dyspepsia or gastritis, sometimes with air swallowing and slow gastric emptying adding to it. At 27, with no red flag symptoms, this is usually manageable without extensive testing. What helps in practice: smaller and more frequent meals instead of two large ones, avoiding tea or coffee on an empty stomach, cutting down spicy and deep-fried food, no smoking, and a gap of two to three hours between dinner and lying down. A short 10-minute walk after meals genuinely helps the heaviness. Also look at stress and irregular meal timing - they are common drivers in young office-going patients. If your symptoms have lasted more than a few weeks or are worsening, a basic evaluation including haemoglobin and a test for H. pylori is reasonable. Do see a doctor sooner if there is weight loss, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, black stools or pain that wakes you at night.
Next Steps
Try 2-3 weeks of small frequent meals, no tea/coffee empty stomach, early dinner and a short post-meal walk; if it persists get CBC and an H. pylori test. For a proper examination and plan you can consult with me at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj.

Fullness or heaviness without actually eating (early satiety) is worth distinguishing from typical bloating or acidity — it can point toward functional dyspepsia, but it's also worth ruling out things like delayed gastric emptying, H. pylori, or even anxiety-related causes before settling on a standard antacid course. A single medication for a week may help symptomatically, but if this is recurring, it really needs a proper history — how long this has been going on, any weight loss, appetite changes, or bowel habit changes — before deciding the right test and treatment path. I'd suggest a consult so we can go through the pattern of your symptoms properly rather than treating it as a one-off acidity issue.
