Still having pain 2days after root canal
Had my root canal treatment for my lower molar tooth cavity 2days back and having ketorol DT 10mg tablet twice a day, but pain is still there around the root canal treated tooth. But doctor told me that the debris in the cavity has been removed and now the tooth is dead so u can't feel any pain even on touching the tooth so the pain may be due to some tissue or nerve touching near that root of the tooth. I'm in confusion and irritated with the pain all the day. Even painkiller not helping .

Hello ma'am, Normally, the pain should perish within 2-3 days of completion of treatment. But, since you're referring to it as unbearable, the etiology can only be understood after seeing the x-ray . Sometimes an improperly placed cap impinges on gums, which may also cause pain.
Next Steps
Visit a local dentist.Tell him your worries and plan a solution.
Health Tips
Do not delay.

Firstly Get an x ray done, so we can rule out if the pain is due to the tooth or muscle spasm. As u said pain killer is not working too, can be because of masseter muscle spasm (it’s due to prolong mouth opening).
Next Steps
Don’t worry it’s not a big problem just go to the dentist
Health Tips
Don’t overdose urself with unnecessary painkillers.
