Stiff Neck and severe neck pain
Sir, i have stiff neck and severe pain on right side of the neck from past 3 years. I consulted a Orthopedic and neuro surgen, done MRI scanning and x-ray. There is no problem in the reports. There is no use with the medication. I am not able to understand why i am having neck pain and stiffness. Can't turn the head. At present i am using muscle relaxtant Movexx-sp, its giving some relief. Please suggest me whom should i consult.

Hello sir,      At your age with said symptoms you most probably would be suffering from facetal joint arthritis that can't be well detected in MRI and x-rays. It's a long process of treatment for this problem. You need thorough clinical examination as a diagnosis can be made only after all that. Please meet a nearby Orthopaedic surgeon and find help.
Next Steps
by then do neck strengthening exercises, use hot water bag for neck pain, if pain is severe use Tab Etoshine MR BD for 3 days.
Health Tips
Avoid pillow and use towel roll under the neck. Avoid looking straight or working on laptop for long. Hope you get well soon, we're all with you.

Hello, stiff neck is maybe because of muscular spasm it in unlikely to have spasm for such a longer period ( 3years) it maybe secondary to your unusual sleeping habits or lifestyle. Avoid thick pillow, avoid jerky movements, U can start shock wave diathermy for a week followed by physiotherapy stretching exercises, Hot fomentation and Apply volini or similar ointment.
