Firstly what is space maintainer... something which fills up space and do not let other teeth to change positions so that you can have Implant or Bridge in future. In my Opinion Removable Partial denture ( Valplast ) itself is Space maintainer in your case... go for it. arrange your finances and plan for good implant as they are costly ranging from 50 to 80 K.
Next Steps
Valpalst Denture Recommonded.
Health Tips
do something or else other teeth will shift in given area and in future prosthesis will be difficult.

Space maintainers are only used in the growing period when the milk teeth fall off early or ar removed early to maintain the space for the permanent teeth when it comes out. For missing permanent teeth, you will need to go for fixed or removable prosthesis/ bridge or implants.
Next Steps
Check with your dentist for option based on which is best for the tooth that you are missing

Yes, You can use space maintainer for permanent missing tooth, but it is always advisable to get it replaced with prosthesis to maintain the harmony and alignment of the teeth.

As the name suggests a space maintainer is not an replacement option, it is just a temporary treatment modality used to preserve or maintain the space until a permanent restoration is planned. You can use a space maintainer but not for long. I would advise a permanent replacement option only as you are young. Getting it done now would be best instead of delaying.
