Social anxiety and unusual behaviour
Hello! I have been experiencing this kind of problem that whenever I step out of home I am not comfortable at all. I fear and stammer while talking to relatives, friends and people. Sometimes even when I am happy there is that fear and stress that makes opposite person rub their eyes and feel low. At times I have sleepless nights and feel depressed after which I feel dizzy the next day. How do I overcome this behaviour and feelings. Are there medicines for anxiety and depression. I want to enjoy my life, be happy (normal) and bold.

Hello practo user I can understand the difficulty that you are facing in your life . Through the above mentioned information that you have provided it is indicative that you are going though anxiety issues when in public or surrounded by people . It is manageable through guidance by a mental health professional like a clinical psychologist . A detailed case history will be useful in reaching a correct and definitive diagnosis . A clinical psychologist can help you understand your symptoms and also provide techniques and skills which can guide you in your life . Try and count backwards when feeling stressed , deep breathing and practicing yoga can be beneficial. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for further help.
