I have been struggling with social anxiety for several years, but it has become much more severe over the last few years. It is now affecting both my personal life and my work.
I often avoid social interactions and make excuses to get out of social situations. I feel anxious while talking to people on the phone, speaking in office meetings, attending office get-togethers, or even having normal conversations.
During these situations, I become extremely nervous. My voice becomes shaky, I feel very awkward, and it feels like all my energy is drained. I have to put in a lot of effort just to continue a basic conversation, and because of my anxiety, I often feel that the conversation does not go well.
I genuinely want to socialize and talk to people confidently, but my anxiety holds me back. Over time, I have lost a lot of confidence, and my motivation has also become low because of these difficulties.
Is this something that can be treated successfully? Thank you.
