The teeth are not shoes in straight lines so as the borders are curvy they meet at the incisal edges and as we go up the gums take care of the curve. So in your case the gums have receded so it can be corrected only cosmetically.
Health Tips
Do keep the area clean else it will become larger.
Small gaps can be seen and it's due to gum recession,
-OPG xray needs to be taken. ( to check for bone loss)
- Teeth cleaning needs to be done. (Evident plaque and calculus seen)
- Might require frenectomy. ( Frenum looks high)
Visit a dentist and get ur X-ray done, to know whether the gaps are due to boneless or other reason don’t worry it can be corrected .
for more details or treatment u can consult me .
Next Steps
During Ortho treatment due to food lodgement and plaque formation the gums swelling is common that will lead to bone loss in between teeth it might be the reason .
U need a good cleaning of teeth .
Health Tips
Regular cleaning and good oral hygiene should be followed
There is calculus deposits between teeth
Which itself is cause of gum recession
And gap will keep on increasing with age( though very slow) with calculus
Get the deposits cleaned(after cleaning these deposits you will see spaces which were occupied by these deposits, and will feel more space)
Next Steps
Consult dentist , get teeth cleaned
Then many options available for diastema closure
Health Tips
Do rinses after every meal
Massage gums in direction from gums towards teeth
