I am having trouble sleeping at night , and i have to go to college in the day, which I've been missing out on a lot. I have tried staying up all day, but I've failed. I needed to know if there's any kind of medication for me to sleep at night and what kind of doctor should I consult to?

Stop smoking, alcohol.
Avoid any type of screen like TV, mobile, laptop etc one hr before sleep.
Schedule fix time to go to bed.
Don't use bed or bed room for other activities except sleep.
Try to sleep in the dark or in dear light.
Don't use blue light.
Do regular exercise.
