We can't make any diagnosis with limited information. Your husband needs to take a proper psychiatrist consultation and get evaluated thoroughly.

Hi, I appreciate that you reached out with your concern. The reason for unable to sleep could be emotional, maybe due to some recent changes in life. I suggest you to consult therapist and consider psychometric test to know the root cause of this. Also consider techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Tailored strategies to your specific needs with professional psychologist will help you. Meanwhile, tell him to practice Bhramari Pranayam for sound sleep and also some breathing practices like Deep breathing to relax the mind, practice mindfulness meditation and Progressive muscle relaxation. Maintain a balanced diet and exercise daily, going for walks before night sleep will also help to sleep.
