Sleepiness?!
I have difficulty falling asleep at night, even after it comes there is a break every 1-2 hours & its not deep. My main issue was throughout daytime sleepiness so i was prescribed ativan but even after 7 hrs deep sleep , the daytime sleepiness issue remains. What seems to be an issue with me?

Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history and mental status examination is necessary to come for a diagnosis and manage it accordingly. Are you undergoing some stressful event? Have you a good family and friends support system? Try to go for “Sleep hygiene “ Go to bed only when you are sleepy. Take dinner about 2 hours prior to bed time. Take the medicine at bedtime after going to the toilet. Think positive before bedtime. Make a comfortable bed with minimal of sounds or lights. Take the drug around 9 . Do relaxation exercises and yoga regularly
Next Steps
Do review your treatment plan if the things don’t happen for your favour.
